Not to take anything away from those brands, they are great. I have many both Fender and Gibson Guitars and know for a fact that you can build a guitar for about 20 percent of those costs and be just as happy with the instrument. Some of our clients and acquaintances have up to 81 guitars. If they were to be all Gibsons and Fenders, well let’s just say you’d need to be rich.
